MarbleLympics 2019 Event Review E6 – Relay Run

Logo: Marblelympics

The sixth event of the MarbleLympics 2019, is the relay run! One of the favourite events among the fans! Needing both speed and teamwork anything can happen with this kind of event. But what did happen? Read below!

Hazers have recently stolen first place from the Savage Speeders who have been impendrabable in the first two events but slacked in the last two events making them lose their lead. Many teams like the Green Ducks and the Crazy Cat Eyes have come from nowhere and are now in contention for first place. They are looking for a strong finish today to keep up the momentum. Favourite teams like the Oceanics and the O’rangers have really not lived up to there past seasons and are in the lower spectrum of the standings.

There are four heats, before the Semifinals and Finals. The first heat involves the teams of Team Galactic, Oceanics, Green Ducks and Balls of Chaos. Team Galactic fans are surprised at how poor they have been in the past events and hoping for something to turn them around here in this event. Balls of Chaos are looking for a podium finish here to throw them farther up the standings and keep them alive here in 2019. Balls of Chaos have a fast starting, flying through to the first handoff. The others are close behind. Balls of Chaos continue to further there lead to the second handoff. Oceanics seem to be closing in on the Balls of Chaos at the third handoff. The third handoff goes poorly for the Balls of Chaos as they fall to the last place. Green Ducks pass fast going into first, but Team Galactic come out of nowhere and take second place, only losing by a millisecond! What a heat! Green Ducks and Team Galactic will be moving onto the semifinals!

The second heat involves the teams of Indigo Stars. Savage Speeders, Thunderbolts and the O’rangers! Indigo Stars are really in need of a good finish in this event, for there hopes to stay alive in 2019. Savage Speeders need to go back into there old form here in this event, or risk being passed by other teams. Thunderbolts are in the middle pack, a podium finish will really help there cause. They are neck and neck through to the first handoff. Savage Speeders gain a little of a lead on the Indigo Stars but all teams in contention at this point. Savage Speeders are still in the lead to the third handoff but O’rangers are moving quickly and jump from last into second. The last handoff and the Thunderbolts come from nowhere and take the victory! Thunderbolts and the O’rangers will be moving onto the semifinals!

The third heat involves Midnight Wisps, Raspberry Racers, Pinkies and Mellow Yellow! Midnight Wisps are known as a team with a lot of history and have not really made an impact so far. Raspberry Racers are slowly doing better each event and hope to keep the momentum in this event. Pinkies are the worst team in 2019 so far and need anything to happen to them in this event. Mellow Yellow has recently shown they are here to stay and hope for more of the same. Mellow Yellow is quick out of the gate and into a short lead to the first handoff. Midnight Wisps fall to a crawl as they are way behind the other teams after the handoff. Mellow Yellow is passed by both RR and the Pinkies into the last handoff. Pinkies gain a lot of speed and end in second place followed shortly behind by the Raspberry Racers who win the event! Raspberry Racers and Pinkies will be moving onto the semifinals! Midnight Wisps are DQed after knocking over the starting block!

The last heat involves the teams of the Hazers, Crazy Cat Eyes, Chocolatiers and the Jungle Jumpers. Chocolatiers have not been so hot in the beginning five events and hoping for better in this one. Jungle Jumpers have shown some light in the last event be need a lot more of that in the upcoming events for a shot at first place overall. Chocolatiers have a short lead going into the first handoff before they drop heavily into the last place as the Crazy Cat Eyes and Jungle Jumpers are in a battle for first. Jungle Jumpers continue to lead into the third handoff, with CCE on their tails. After the last handoff, Hazers come out of nowhere and knock Crazy Cat Eyes out of second. Jungle Jumpers finish first then the Hazers! Jungle Jumpers and the Hazers will be moving on to the semifinals!

Semifinals Group A involves the Pinkies, Hazers, O’rangers and the Green Ducks. Through the start and into the first handoff the teams are neck and neck. A great handoff by the Green Ducks throws them flying into a huge lead into the second handoff. Green Ducks continue with that momentum holding a huge lead into the third handoff. Green Ducks fly easily into a victory with all other teams far behind. Pinkies and O’rangers are in a photo finish for second. Seems to be a tie! They will have a one on one to see who finishes second! Insane! The O’rangers cruise in the standoff and take second place. The Green Ducks and O’rangers will be in the finals!

The last end of the semifinals, Group B involves the Raspberry Racers, Thunderbolts, Team Galactic and Jungle Jumpers. There seems to be a false start appealed by RR, a reset is under effect. All teams are neck and neck into the first handoff. Raspberry Racers gain a tiny lead, with Jungle Jumpers falling far back due to a bad handoff. Raspberry Racers gain a bigger lead to the end where they finish first. Thunderbolts manage to come out on top for the battle for second. The Raspberry Racers and Thunderbolts will be moving onto the finals!

The finals are about to start involving the Thunderbolts, O’rangers, Green Ducks and the Raspberry Racers. One of these teams is going home without reaching the podium. Raspberry Racers are in the lead to the first handoff, but a great handoff by the O’rangers send them down flying fast all the other teams and into first to the second handoff. Green Ducks have now moved into second, gaining speed on the O’rangers to pass them at the ending to gain the victory! Green Ducks earn a gold medal in this event. O’rangers earn a silver and Raspberry Racers with the bronze.

The last racer is Pinkydink for the Pinkies, the Pinkies are dead last in the standings and need anything to happen in this event. Indigo Stars and Mellow Yellow are fast from the beginning, neck and neck. Savage Speeders seem to be stuck on the wall of there lane, decreasing their speed. Mellow Yellow narrowly take the win from the Indigo Stars in the end! Mellow Yellow and Indigo Stars will be moving on! A poor showing from Savage Speeders this is sure to hurt there lead in the MarbleLympics 2019.

Rozzy is racing for the Raspberry Racers. RR is currently in fourth place in the standings and hopefully can find themselves with another podium finish in this event. Orangin is racing for the O’Rangers. O’Rangers being one of the favoured teams have not even scratched the surface of what most people thought they were going to do this year. They are 14th in the standings. The last racer is Wispy for the Midnight Wisps who are in the lower half of the standings, even though they pre-qualified this year in the MarbleLympics. The cameras show the Orangers edge out the Hazers for the win! O’rangers and Hazers will be moving on!

The last heat of the event before Semifinals involves Green Eye from the Crazy Cat Eyes who really have come out of nowhere in the last events and showing all the older teams that they deserve to be here! Chocolatiers are looking for something to move them father up the leaderboards in this event. The last racer is Sea racing for the Oceanics. Oceanics came in as one of the favourites and have disappointed many people’s predictions. They need a strong finishing in this event. Chocolatiers with a strong starting to this event, with Crazy Cat Eyes right there. Crazy Cat Eyes even with them clawing back, in the end, cannot pull off the comeback win, with the Chocolatiers winning instead. Crazy Cat Eyes and Chocolatiers are moving on to the semifinals!

Semi-Final Group A begins with these four racers, Yellow representing Mellow Yellow, Cocoa representing the Chocolatiers, Astron representing Team Galactic and finally Smoggy representing the Hazers. Throughout the first half of the race, all racers are neck and neck. Nobody seems to be giving an inch in this one. A little farther and Astron is beginning to drop behind a little with Coca. Yellow gains a slight lead with Smoggy passing Coca and then Yellow to end up in first place! What a great start to the Semifinals! Chocolatiers and Mellow Yellow will be the two teams moving onto the finals!

Green Eye and Billy with a significant lead throughout the first half of the five meters. Orangin seems to have had a bad start, behind by quite a bit. Gogo is a few seconds behind Billy but could still be in the running. Billy gains the speed needed and passes Green Eye at the last second to win the race! Green Ducks and Crazy Cat Eyes will be moving on to the finals!

The finals begin with the last four remaining racers, one of these teams will be going home without finishing on the podium. Billy is in the inside lane representing the Green Ducks. Logo: Marblelympics

The fourth event of the MarbleLympics is the Gravitrax Slalom, which is a new event concocted just for this year! This event is going to be a good one! A lot of teams are looking for a finish to keep there hopes up for the rest of the lympics. Let’s see what happened!

The first heat of the event involves the Savage Speeders, Raspberry Racers, Balls of Chaos and the Oceanics. Oceanics came into 2019, as one of the favourites and has not really shown us much so far. Savage Speeders are still the number one team, but more poor finishes could change that with 12 more events. Balls of Chaos and Raspberry Racers both are in the lower end of the standings and need a good showing here to keep there hopes up. The Raspberry Racers and Savage Speeders are the teams to move on! Raspberry racers were showing speed on that and seem to have been practicing for this event.

The second heat of the event involves the Midnight Wisps, Team Galactic, Hazers and Jungle Jumpers. Midnight Wisps are in the middle of the standings and are hoping for a podium finish today. Team Galactic is also in the middle of the pack and hoping for a better showing then there past events. Hazers are in second place overall and want to keep their momentum from there amazing showing in the third event balancing. Jungle Jumpers are very low in the standings at the moment and need anything at this point. Jungle Jumpers and Midnight Wisps are the two teams to move on! Both were a second or less slow than the other two finishing teams of the first event. Hazers in dead last? Will that change their lead in the standings?

The third heat of the event involves Crazy Cat Eyes, Chocolatiers, O’rangers and the Green Ducks. Crazy Cat Eyes have been making strides with a bronze medal in the third event and hoping for more of the same in this one. Chocolatiers are in the low middle of the standings and hoping for something to show for in this one. O’rangers were one of the teams to supposed to make big moves this year and let their vocal fans down for now, will it change today? Finally, the Green Ducks are in a comfortable spot at the moment but looking for a medal in this event. Crazy Cat Eyes and the Green Ducks move on! Crazy Cat Eyes with a great showing in this one, with Green Ducks not far behind O’rangers fans are stunned after there finish, their section sits there completely silent!

The last heat of the event before Semifinals involves Mellow Yellow, Indigo Stars, Pinkies and the Thunderbolts. Mellow Yellow is dead in the middle of the standings with high hopes for this event. Indigo Stars are in the lower spectrum of the standings and need more points or a podium finish to keep there hopes alive. Thunderbolts gained a bronze medal in the last event and are making strides, hopefully, they can keep it up in this event. Indigo Stars and Mellow Yellow advance! All the teams were super close, with milliseconds separating all the teams.

Semi-Final Group A starts involving the Raspberry Racers, Midnight Wisps, Crazy Cat Eyes and Mellow Yellow. Raspberry Racers and Crazy Cat Eyes move onto the finals while Midnight Wisps and Mellow Yellow have to go home. A close race, anybody could have had it but teamwork, in the end, proved to help out the finishers.

Semi-Final Group Be starts involving the Green Ducks, Jungle Jumpers, Indigo Stars and the Savage Speeders. Green Ducks and Jungle Jumpers move on, after starting slow. But again teamwork forced more speed which passed the Indigo Stars and Savage Speeders, causing them to move on. Indigo Stars and Savage Speeders go home disappointed.

The finals start involving the Jungle Jumpers, Green Ducks, Raspberry Racers and the Crazy Cat Eyes. Crazy Cat Eyes with the lead in the whole event, the Raspberry Racers make it interesting in the end, only losing by only nine milliseconds! What an event!

MarbleLympics 2019 Event 3 Review: Balancing

MarbleLympics 2019 Event 3 Review: Balancing

Logo: Marblelympics

The third event of the MarbleLympics 2019, Balancing, was released on April 26, 2019. We came into the event after the first two events where the Savage Speeders earned gold medals both times. Many fans came in wondering if their streak would continue and the Savage Speeders fanbase hoped for that outcome. But what happened? Read below for the event and the results!

The O’rangers were the first competitors of the event and came in hoping to forget what happened to them in the second event. They ended this event with a below average showing coming with a total of 229 points. None of the racers were able to make it to the green tile, with the highest marble coming in with 100 points.

Oceanics were the second competitors of the event, coming out with a better showing than the last event with 234 total points.

Pinkies were the the third team of the event and looking for some points to make up for their poor showing in the second event. Pinkies again seemed to be lacking, not being able to put their heads together even with one of their teammates getting 105 points. Their total came to 200 points.

Jungle Jumpers were the fourth team in the event and looked to gain some traction in the MarbleLympics with something to keep their spirits up. Jungle Jumpers had a poor showing, only accumulating 154 points.

Crazy Cat Eyes were the fifth team in the event and looked to jump in the leaderboards after below average showings in the first two events. They finished impressively with two finisher and came away with 351 points, which was a new MarbleLympics record!

Indigo Stars followed up as the sixth team in the event and needed to accumulate a better showing if they had any hope for the future. The team had one finisher, but also one member who fell off early. Their total was not enough with 215 total points.

Mellow Yellow was the seventh team and looked to make a impact here. They had a finisher and earned a total of 273 points, putting them into second place at that point.

The Midnight Wisps followed up as the eighth team. Fans know them as being a strong team with some serious finishes in past events. They are ones to be feared if they are on. Their attempt gave them a finisher, but most other teammates ended up with low scores. They earned 220 total points and remained in the fifth spot at that point.

The scoreboard looks like this at the end of the Wisps run.

    1. Crazy Cat Eyes with 351 points
    2. Mellow Yellow with 273 points
    3. Oceanics with 234 points
    4. O’rangers with 226 points
    5. Midnight Wisps with 220 points
    6. Indigo Stars with 215 points
    7. Pinkies with 200 points
    8. Jungle Jumpers with 154 points

Balls of Chaos were the ninth team of the event and came in with a false start! The team got a redo. They came out with a below average showing with only 210 points. That is not going to help them in the long run.

The Chocolatiers followed as the tenth team of the event. They were low on the standings and needed a good showing in the balancing event to keep their dreams alive. They sadly did not end well with only 172 points.

Team Galactic came in as the eleventh team of the event. Their fanbase was hoping for something to show for in this event. They ended with a showing of 300 total points which is not bad at all.

Thunderbolts were the twelfth team in this event; another team in the lower half of the overall standings that hoped for some more light in this event. Two of their teammates earned over 105 points and a one teammate was a finisher! They ended with 408 total points, a new record and surpassing the Crazy Cat Eyes in the event!

Hazers followed as the thirteenth team in the event. Two teammates came in as finishers and another earned 107 points. With all the points added together, the Hazers ended up with 438 total points and broke the record for the third time in the event, surpassing the Thunderbolts!

The Green Ducks came in as the fourteenth team in the event. Green Ducks ended up with two finishers and a total of 304 points!

Raspberry Racers came into this event as the fifteenth of the event. Their fanbase was itching for a good showing here to repeat their silver medal success in the Funnel Race. Sadly, they ended up with a total of only 199 points.

The final team of the event was the Savage Speeders, the top team of the leaderboard at the moment. They came down with one finisher and nothing much else. They accumulated a total of 268 points.
